VAE signs contract to repair the Excitation System for Huong Dien Hydropower Plant.

The plant has a capacity of 54 MW with 2 generating units that have completed their warranty period. The plant's technology was supplied by the Guangzhou Group - China.

During operation, several technical faults occurred, and the unit was completely shut down due to the H1 excitation cabinet malfunctioning. With years of experience, VAE experts have successfully completed projects such as: replacing one excitation unit for the auxiliary generator at Hoa Binh Power Plant, replacing three excitation cabinets for RyNinh 2 Hydropower Plant – Gia Lai, replacing two excitation cabinets for Dray H'linh Hydropower Plant – Dak Lak, Tat Nang Hydropower Plant, Ta Sa Hydropower Plant, etc.

After a short period of repair and maintenance, both inverter cabinets are now operational and connected to the grid normally, with all technical parameters meeting specifications.
